Episode 26 of 5 Corners

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

This week on 5 Corners, Payne and I, try to make the best of what’s currently a slightly depressing time in wrestling right now. We discuss topics such as:

-Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett being deported due to work visas being expired. Who’s at fault? What effect could it have on the current storylines?

-Bret Hart’s pending major announcement. Will he take a side in the Owen Hart Lawsuit or retire from wrestling again?

-Yet even more Batista news with reaching a deal with StrikeForce? Can either side negotiate the right price for “The Animal”

All that and more including an abysmal RAW including shitty antics from John Cena, a quick rundown of TNA, and even Gus Johnson talk on this week’s 5 Corners.

From a hot week in wrestling with the NXT invasion angle to a buzz killer with the firing of Bryan Danielson. We also discuss:

-TNA’s Slamaversary and a possible rumor regarding Dixie Carter’s big surprise announcement

-Latest legal situation regarding Jeff Hardy

-Bret Hart’s downward performance on RAW

All that and more including us not getting the whole ruckus about Soccer’s World Cup in this edition of 5 Corners:

Episode 23 of 5 Corners

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

A hot week in wrestling this week, mostly because of the finish of the NXT invasion on RAW, which some are claiming is the best ending to a RAW in years. We discuss that and:

-How Randy Orton really injured his shoulder

-Undertaker’s vegetative state and how Kane could possibly be the assailant behind it

-Quick rundown of TNA’s shenanigans

-And Jeff Hardy’s charges being dropped (After recording the show, turns out that possibly no charges have been dropped at all. We’ll cover and correct this next week.)

Episode 22 of 5 Corners

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

This week, special guest Mark Satrang wrestling writer/blogger from the examiner.com and pulsewrestling.com drops by to help 3-man the show to the brink of insanity. He also helps us discuss:

-Ashton Kutcher’s unprofessionalism by not actually physically being on RAW

-BATISTA WATCH 2010: Once again, where Batista could possibly end up

-How Tazz should stop using euphemisms when talking about the Knockouts.

-We also get Mark to play a little Douche or No Douche with me somehow “Lebatarding” the game up.

All that and more on this week’s edition of 5 Corners.
